Systems Engineering

Helix Security brings more than 20 years of experience in helping customers understand and document their information management needs unique to their business and critical to their mission's success. With baseline system requirements established, we architect and design information systems both by leveraging component functional analyses and crosswalks and through careful consideration of design constraints and full life-cycle support. With customer acceptance obtained, system specifications are driven through acquisition, integration, configuration, and testing phases and overall system effectiveness is assessed based off of previously identified customer needs and system functions.

Information Systems Security Engineering

Helix Security professionals help customers ensure that their information system security engineering processes closely mirror those inherent within the aforementioned systems engineering process. In order to fully understand our customers' information management needs, we work closely with customers to ensure that their information protection needs are identified and addressed. Customers and supporting organizations are engaged both to discuss applicable security and privacy concerns and to help ensure that requirements surrounding data confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation are identified, documented, and satisfied through subsequent security control selection, implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring activities.
